"Pailili, son of'Holae and Kaohuki. Pailili accompanied Kalanioputu, ruling chief of Hawaii to Ko 'olau, Maui. Kalaniopu'u was fighting against Kahekili, ruling chief of Maui. Pailili was the officiating priest of Kalaniopu'u. The whereabouts of his father Holoae was not mentioned. No accounts given for Pailili, wife Haalolou"
