H.H. Princess KUKIIAHU (KU-KII-AHU)

She married Ako, an American sailor who was lost at sea. She had issue, a daughter.

KAULOAIWI (KAU-LOA-IWI, KAOLOAIWI)

(Parents Kalanikaumaka-o-Wakea (Kalanikaumakaowakea I) (Moi, Ruler of Maui) and Makakuwahine need confirmation)

KU'IHEWAAKAUA'UPENA (KU'IHEWA-A-KAUA-'UPENA)

Kuihewa-kauauapena is the name given by S.M. Kamakau.

KUIMEHEUA (KUIMEHEUA I, KU'I-ME-HE-UA)

Kuimeheua is the name used by S.M. Kamakau.

NIAU (NIAU I)

Kamakau, like many others, says that Niau (daughter of Kuimeheua) is the mother of Ululani Nui. This contradicts the teaching of S.L.K. Peleioholani that the mother of Ululani is Papaikaniau. We know Peleioholani is correct because this is his family line and Ululani is his great grandmother.

It's easy to see where the mistake came from simply by looking at the names.
